Hi, I am Morgan Ka'Bree Newson.
I’m a sports and portrait photographer based in Los Angeles, California. My passion lies in capturing movement, emotion, and the stories that unfold both on and off the field.
For two years, I had the incredible opportunity to intern with the Morehouse College House of Funk Marching Band, traveling with the team and documenting their artistry and rhythm as musicians.
Most recently, I served as a Media Specialist at the Spelman College Wellness Center, where I organized a media day dedicated to showcasing the beauty and strength of Black women in wellness through authentic, empowering imagery.

My inspiration to continue flourishing in my small business “Ka’Bree’s Photography” is based on my relationship with Christ, family, friends, and community. My goal as a photographer is to capture someone’s beauty, allowing them to embrace all their features.
Voyage LA 2021
I began my journey as a photographer by launching Ka’Bree’s Photography in December of 2019. My priority as a new photographer is to help those in my community share their stories with many generations to come. I can accomplish this by creating photos and visuals that can uplift others and inspire young black men and women to see their beauty while understanding their worth through art. Photography has always held a special place in my heart since my childhood.
